Copenhagen, 31 July 1918.

Dear Mr. Chief of Section [C. Lundbye],

The German legation at Copenhagen has forwarded the following note to the Foreign Ministry:

"Die Schriftstellerin Ingeborg Maria Sick hat im Namen einer grösseren Zahl skandinavischer Frauen eine Immediateingabe an Seine Majestät den Kaiser gerichtet, in der für Berücksichtigung der Armenier bei der Neuordnung im Osten eingetreten wird.

Bestehen Bedenken, der Genannten zu danken?"

[Translation of the German-language note: 'The authoress Ingeborg Maria Sick has, in the name of a considerable number of Scandinavian women, addressed an urgent petition to His Majesty the Kaiser in order to make him stand up on behalf of the Armenians due to the reorganization of the East.

Is it possible to thank the abovementioned?']

As I do not know anything about this matter and furthermore know no other way to acquire knowledge of what the content of this "Immediateingabe" to the Kaiser has been, I allow myself to ask you if you think you can obtain some information about this.
