Her parents were killed near a lake named Giueldjuk seven hours away from Harpoot.

            Loucie was taken to a Turkish family and adopted as their child. Year after year passed and Lucie became a nice girl. The brother of her step-father wanted to marry her and the Turk without asking her agreed at once.

            Lucie was married and lived about one year with the Turk. Later she was received with our financial support by some Armenian Catholic organization of Diarbekir. She was sent by this organization to Aleppo where some of her relatives were located.
