Anna's father died in the beginning of the general war. She herself was deported with her mother, brother and sister. After a very long journey they arrived all together in Nizib. She and her mother were working in different Turkish families and supported themselves nine years.  

                  Her mother was married to a Turk and is still living with him. Her mother is still with the Turk waiting for an opportunity to save her bigger sister. Once they came to Djirablous, our agent saw Anna and sent her by motor-car to our Reception-house.  

                  Having nobody here we admitted her until her mother comes out of Turkey.
