Sourin does not remember
anything about his earliest childhood.
We have given him the name
Sourin, his Arabian name was Suleyman.
In the time of deportation an
Arab had taken him in and adopted him as his son. When he grew up, he heard,
that he was an Armenian.
Our agent once met with him
and tried to persuade him to leave the Moslems, but he said : How can I leave
the people, who have treated me as a son. And my dear sheep, I love them so
much, what would become of them?’’
Yet the next time the agent
came, Sourin was ready to go with him. He had thought the matter over and now
knew that he was a Christian who had to join his nation.
His
aunt was found in Aleppo, he is staying with her.
Karnig
has also an uncle in America.
Left our care: 19/7 27. Relatives aunt Aleppo.
