Khatshkhatoun was deported with her mother to the village environing Urfa. She lost her mother there. An Arab took her to his village after a rest of a few days the Turkish government was collecting all Armenian children and so she came to Urfa. She lived for two years in a Turkish house and fled from there to Besni with the intention to go to her native town, she could not succeed but went again to a Turkish family where she lived five years as a maid-servant.
A group of Armenian refugees was passing this town, she fled, joined them and came finally to this city.
Her father is in America.
