After his mother's death the whole family was deported to Malatia. His father fled but Krikor does not know where. He lost his step-mother too.
Krikor was taken with his sister to the Turkish orphanage in Malatia. After a few days they were both taken to a Turkish house where they lived one year. Krikor's sister died, the Turk did not want to keep him any longer. Krikor went to another Turkish house and stayed there until Armenians were leaving the city. He fled from the Turk and followed the Armenian caravan and arrived finally here.
As far as we know he has no relatives.
Krikor was received in the orphanage of the Near East Relief.
