In the beginning of the Armenians massacres Kevork's father was killed and his mother was exiled. Kevork and his elder brother were taken by a Kourd and brought to a village. There they stayed 10 years and had to work very hard as shepherds and farmers.
Kevork's master sold him to another Kourd, where he was illtreated. He then one day fled to Mardin where he met with an Armenian who told him about our Reception house here in Aleppo and promised to take him to our agent if he wanted to return to his nation.
Of course Kevork was willing and joined the man who brought him to our agent and he sent him by automobile to us.
