Hripsime was exiled with her
parents and a brother. They walked and walked, suffered from hunger and thirst,
and were from the rude gendarms driven on towards an unknown destination. In
the night they slept on the bare ground. The caravan was surrounded by Arabs
and Kourds, who robbed, violated and killed.
Hripsime's father was also
killed, her mother got ill and she had to leave her on the road.
Hripsime
and her brother reached Bab. There a Turk dragged her away, she was forced to
remain in his house 3 years then she fled to Ermish and stayed in an Arabs tent
5 years. Afterwards she was sold to a Kourd and was married to him 3 years. She
then heard about our house and fled to Aleppo.
