Mardiros' father went to America and died there. When the Armenian deportation started his mother went with him to a Kourdish family and became a servant. She lived eight years among the Kurds. Mardiros was allowed to stay with her.
After the Armistice Armenians were allowed to emigrate his mother made the bargain with a muleteer and started with Mardiros for Aleppo. Both arrived safely. His mother could not support him so we took him in our reception house.
His mother is a servant in an Arab's family.
Mardiros found his mother and went to live with her.
Left our care: January 31, 1924. Relatives.
