             Arousyag's father and brothers were killed in their town but she and her mother were deported to Urfa. Her mother died there and a Turk took her to his house where she lived until June 15, 1922. She heard that there are orphanages in Aleppo, she found an opportunity to flee and succeeded in reaching the Armenian church, from where she was sent to Aleppo.

            Arousyag has no relatives.

 

 

Arousyag became engaged and went to Canada to marry.
