At the beginning of the deportation his mother was taken away by force to a Turkish house. He and his father were exiled to Aleppo. Gulebang's father became ill on the road and died here in Aleppo a few days after their arrival.
Gulebang went to Enterli where he lived one year after his father's death. As he was badly treated he fled from there to Hamam. He found a place a servant in an Arabic family and he stayed for six years.
Gulebang wanted to learn a trade, he asked his master to be permitted to return to his nation, but the Arab was angry and began to treat him badly. One night he fled from there to Aleppo and asked us to protect him for a time.
Gulebang found some work and became selfsupporting.
Left our care: November 1922. Selfsupporting.
