Sultan does not remember her
Armenian name. She was exiled with her parents in the direction of Aleppo. When
they reached Azaz near Killis, her parents became ill and died.
A Turk took Sultan to his
villages, where she remained 1 year. Then she was offered to another one, with
whom she lived 10 years.
Once she was working in the
field, she met with an Armenian who informed her about her nation and our
rescue-house. Sultan resolved to rejoin her nation. She waited on the road, a
passing motor-car driver took her to Aleppo.
