                  In the year 1915 the Turks set the Armenian quarter in Moosh on fire. Armenouhi was lying among the ruins. There Kourds found her and brought her to their village. 

                  She was there married to a Kourd. The Kourds in that village were afterwards exiled, and Armenouhi was among them.

                  As they came near Mardin, an Arab dragged Armenouhi away and brought her to his tent. There she stayed 8 years. 

                  Newly she succeeded in fleeing with some muleteers and reached Deir-el-Zor from where our agent sent her on to us.
