Ovsanna's husband was killed
in the beginning of the deportation. She was exiled with her 2 sons and one
daughter. On the road, near Deir-el-Zor, the caravan was attacked by Tchetchens
who killed her 2 sons and took daughter away.
She
herself was taken to a Tcherkess family in Meadin, where she lived seven years
as servant. Then she was married to an old Arab. Being ill-treated, she fled
during the absence of her husband and reached Deir-el-Zor from where by our
agent she was sent to us.
Left
our care: February 18, 1926. Relatives.
