His father was a soldier in the Turkish Army. His mother was cruelly burnt and killed. He and his brother were deported until Harran. He went to live in a Turkish house. Hagob heard that some of his relatives are alive in Aleppo. Of course he desired to see them, he fled to Urfa and from there to Aleppo. Other Armenian boys accompanied him.
Hagob found his aunt here in Aleppo and went to live with her.
