She was deported with her family. Her father was killed in Harpoot. The rest were dispersed to different caravans. Soultan was exiled to Urfa. A Kourd took her from there and went with her to Severek. She lived seven years with the Kourd being his maid-servant.
Several Armenian families were allowed to go to Aleppo. They promised Soultan to take her with them if she could manage to flee. Soultan fled at night time from the Kurd and started early in the morning with the above named families to Aleppo.
Soultan found her relatives and went to live with them.
