He lost his mother on the road during the deportation. His father died. Homoyag was living with a Turk. Once he heard about orphanages in Aleppo and he fled to Urfa, from Urfa to Jirablous, but he was caught several times by Turkish policemen and gendarmes. He was put in prison for a short time and fled afterwards to Jirablous.

            His brother is in Russia.

Homayag could not adapt himself to the life in the city and ran away very soon.
