Yacoub
was a rather big boy, when the order of deportation came. He was exiled with
his parents, two brothers and a sister. His father was soon killed. The caravan
went on and by and by his mother, brothers and sister were robbed by Arabs. He
himself was also one day taken away by an Arab, who kept him 10 years as a
shepherd and farmer.
One
day he heard that many Armenians were living in Aleppo. He then fled and
reached our rescue-home.
Left
our care: September 19, 1925. Relatives.
