His father was killed during the deportation. Kevork was deported with his mother and brother to Nizib. His mother died there and he himself went to live among the Turks, he took his brother Sarkis with him. After one year they returned with some Kourds to their native town. Of course they went again to Turkish houses where they lived six years as servants.
After the Armistice some Armenian families lived in this town. Kevork and Sarkis fled to one of those families some time later they joined a party of Armenian refugees and reached this city.
As far as we know he has no relatives.
