The whole family was deported to Germik. His father was killed in this town. His sisters were taken away by Kourds, and later they married them. The survivors were sent to the different villages of Urfa. His mother became ill and died.
Boghos could not support himself and so he went to a Kourdish family in Dodash. He remained eight years there doing the duty of a shepherd. When he grew up he desired to become an Armenian again. He wanted to learn a trade for his life. He fled to Urfa. There he met a sheep merchant, who was going to Aleppo. He worked for him, the merchant thought that Boghos was a Kourd. He took him with him to Aleppo. Arriving here he fled to us and we received and protected him.
His brother is supposed to be in America.
His relatives were found in Beyruth and he went to live with them.
Left our care: April 5, 1924. Relatives.
