Kevork was deported with his
parents, two brothers and two sisters. They went from Zeitoon to Khabur, there
an Arab dragged away with Kevork. The boy was forced to stay with that Arab
eleven years. In a neighbouring village there lived some Armenians. Those told
Kevork about our rescue-home in Aleppo. He very much wanted to come here and
one day he fled to Hamah, from where some Armenians sent him on to us. Found his
father and uncle and left to live with them.
