Her husband fled with other Armenians to the mountains in order to escape from the massacre organized by the Turkish government. Kourdish friends provided them with food but some day they were surrounded by Turkish soldiers and killed there.
Horom was deported with her little daughter and two boys. Her girl died in a few days. It was winter-time and very cold. Near Kored both sons died of hunger and cold.
Horom had no money and no relatives. She was obliged to work in different Kourdish houses in order to earn her daily bread.
However, Armenians began to flee to Syria. Horom fled too. Coming to Hassitshe our agent saw her and sent her to our Reception house.
As far as we know she has no relatives.
