Tooma
was married before the war. She was exiled with her husband, who was killed
before her eyes.
Tooma
was sent further on. After a time, she herself with some other female survivors
fell into the hands of some Arabs.
In
the house of that Arab, where Tooma came, there was an Armenian servant. His
master allowed him to marry Tooma. They became 2 children.
Newly
her husband became ill and died, and the Arab wanted to give her to another
servant, an Arab.
Fortunately,
one of our agents one day came to that village. He paid a certain sum to her
master and Tooma was free and happy. One day she herself and her two boys
arrived in our rescue-home in Aleppo.
