Sarkis
was exiled with his parents, 2 sisters and 1 brother. He remembers that his
parents became ill and died a few days after its other. He does not know what
became of his sisters and brother, he but knows that an old Arab woman took him
to a tent near a river. There he lived 8 years. They treated him rather well,
until a young wife came in the house. This woman treated him very badly so he
fled to Deir-el-Zor and lived there 2 years.
During that time he understood
that he was an Armenian. One day our agent heard about him, spoke to him about
our house and persuaded him to go to us. So one day he came.
Found
his father in Krekan and Sarkis went to live with him.
His
step-mother treated him badly and he came back to us after a short time.
