Assadour's father died 2 years before the deportation. His mother married again and Assadour and his elder brother were supported in their uncle's family.
Soon after the order of deportation came, the village was attacked by soldiers and all men were killed. The women and children fled to another village, where most of the were slaughtered and thrown into the river.
It succeeded some of them to flee so Assadour did came to a Kourdish family. He was there gladly received, because they had no children, so he remained with them 10 years as their son.
He used going to Amood for buying all the necessary things for the family. One day he there met with an Armenian merchant who recognized him and persuaded him to go to his own people. He one day fled to Hassitshe and from there he was sent to us.
