Hripsime's
first husband was killed during the time when the French troops had to withdraw
from a part of the Turkish territory, and she was left with one little child,
whom she with great difficulty could support.
Later
on she married a young Armenian. He had embraced Islam in the days of the
persecution but was now trying to live again within the Christian community.
The circumstances however being too strong for him, he fell back to Islam, his
wife could not endure this. She preferred exile to leaving her faith.
She was received by us.
Left
our care: December 31, 1926. Selfsupporting.
Her children are received in
the German orphanage.
