Takoohi was exiled with her parents. One sister had gone to America a year before the deportation and was married there.

                  The caravan went on to Rakka, there an Arab took her by force and brought her to his tent. She stayed there 2 years then her master died and Takoohi was illtreated by his wifes . She fled to another Arab village, where she remained four years.

                  Afterwards they sold her to an Arab with whom she married and lived with him 4 years.

                  Takoohi does not know what became of her family, but she knew that her sister was living in America and of course she wanted to join her. 

                  She had heard that there were living Armenians in Ras-el-Ain. So one day she asked permission to go there for buying something. She went to an Armenian family who protected her till they were able sending her to us.

                  Takouhi's brother is in America and she has a grandmother and aunt in Aleppo with whom she went to live.
