            Her family was deported. Iskoohi was given by her mother to a Turk in order to save her life.

            Iskoohi lived seven years in this Turkish family working for them. She fled with an Armenian family to Harpoot, where she met a group of Greek refugees. Iskoohi followed them until Jirablous from where she was sent to us on December 2, 1922.

 

 

As far as we know she has no relatives.

Iskoohi learned embroidery, became selfsupporting.

                        Found her father in America who took her over.
