Her parents were deported but she was kept in a Turkish house. A Turkish friend of her parents kept her as their own child. She lived five years in this family but later the Turk could not support her any longer because he was very poor.
Khatshatoon was obliged to work at a low payment in different Turkish houses in order to gain her daily breath. At night she could sleep in the house of a poor Armenian family. This family came to Aleppo with other refugees, they took Katshatoon with them and we received her in our house on May 23.
As far as we know she has no relatives.
