Nejmi
came recently to us with her two little ones. She was deported with her husband
and relatives. On the road they met with a Kurd, a friend of her husband, who,
managing a clever transaction, took them out of the caravan, and brought them
into his village, where they remained for many years under his protection. One
day, unfortunaely, Nejmi's husband became ill and died. She, being unable to
support her two children, started for Aleppo in search of her relatives.
Reaching Aleppo, she came straight to our rescue-home. We took her in, until
she could find any of her relatives.
Found her brother in Zahle and went with
her two children to live with him.
Left
our care: May 10, 1926. Relatives.
