Shortly before the war his father died. Yervant was deported with his family until Ras-el-Ain where the whole family was killed. He was living with an Arab doing agriculture. His cousin was in Meskeni. He met him once on the road and learned from him that he could be sent to Aleppo by a man of his village. He fled from the Arab supported by the above named he came to this city.
Yervant has no relatives.
Yervant was a bad character, hateful against his own people. He left us after a few days, to return to the Moslems and surely to become a Moslem himself.
