Setrak's mother died before the war. His father was
killed by the Turks. He was deported together with a brother, few years older
then himself. Somewhere a Turk took Setrak in his house. Since then he has been
working for him. Seeing that he was in fact a slave, he fled to Syria. Walking
from town to town he reached Mardin, where he got hold of a passport to Adana.
When he came to Syria, he left the train in the night and came to our house. We
found his brother here in Aleppo. They are now living together.
Left our care: May 28, 1928.
