Partam's parents died when he was a little child. When Armenians were deported he went with his grandparents until Der-el-Zor. There he was given by them to an Arab family who kept him as their son during nine years.
Partam remembered his being an Armenian and felt the desire to return to his nation in order to remain Christian and to learn a trade.
When he heard that there are Armenian orphanages in Aleppo and the possibility to learn a trade, he asked his Arab parents to permit him to return to his nation. He was allowed to do so and he went to our agent who sent him to this city.
As far as we know he has no relatives.
Found relatives here in Aleppo and went to live with them.
Left our care: June 5, 1924. Relatives.
