Lucia's husband was killed during the deportation. She was exiled with her child until Mardin where a Turk took her to his house and married her.
Lucia lived seven years with the Turk. When Armenians started to leave Turkey she paid some money to a Turkish muleteer and he took her and her child to Hesishe. Hesishe is a Christian village. The people from there helped her and sent her with the child to Aleppo.
Her cousin is in America.
