Kaiane was deported with her parents. On the road she
suffered very much. Once in the Syrian desert, she was captured by an Arab
Sheikhm named Ahmed-el-Noaanae. She lived two years in his tent. Later on
Sheikh Meslet Djebouri took her by force from her first master. Violated and
married her when she was but ten years old. Lately she could not stand any
longer the violent troubles and treatments inflicted upon her. She fled at
night from the tribe and went straight on to Hassitshe. There she met our agent
who sent her immediately to our Aleppo Rescue-Home.
She does not know what
happened to her parents, but her sister is still living among the Arabs.
Left our care: October 27,
1927. Married in our colony No. 822.
