During the deportation his father was a soldier in the Turkish army. His mother died in her native country. 

Isahag and his brother were exiled to Hekimkhan. At that time the Turks were gathering the Armenian children to teach them in Islam, in this way his younger brother was separated from him and sent to Sivas to a Turkish orphanage. He has not got more news about him. 

Isahag, himself remained in Hekimkhan living as a servant in a Turkish house. After 12 years working without any recompence, he came into connection with our Arabpounar agent, who arranged his escape and sent him to us. 

Ishaga’s father was found in Aleppo, he went to live with him.
