            Setrag's father died before the war. He was deported with his mother and two sisters to the villages of Harpoot where he lost his relatives.

            Setrag went back to his village and lived with a Turk 7 years.

            When all Armenians were allowed to leave Turkey he fled from the Turk and went to Harpoot, where he met an Armenian caravan going to Aleppo. He was permitted to go with them. After a journey of several weeks he reached this city.

 

 

His cousin Hovagim Hooroian is in America.

Setrag was no good character and we found, that the life in our orphanage-house was no good to him, so we sent him away.
