Dikranouhis father was a soldier in the Turkish army and was killed there. She was deported with her mother. On the road a Kourd took them both, and the mother was forced to marry him. After two years her mother became ill and died.

                  Dikrannouhi became the servant of the house and remained 8 years there. She was growing up and the Kourd wanted to marry her. She fled to another village, but was there taken by an Arab and brought to his house. That Arab had another wife, who ill-treated Dikranouhi and used her to every hard work in the house and on the field, so one day, she fled with some muleteers and arrived safely in Hassitshe, from there she was per Auto sent to our rescue-home in Aleppo.
