Kasbar's father was killed in
the wartime. He and his mother were taken by a Turk.
Later they were deported and
reached with the caravan Javruk. There they hid themselves. Kasbar's mother
then earned their living by working in different houses.
She was later ill and died. A
Turk took Kasbar in his house and kept him as a servant several years.
Kasbar who always was longing
to join his own people, one day fled to Rakka from where our helper sent him
per auto to our rescue-home in Aleppo.
Kasbar
went to his relatives in Beyrut.
