Andranig was deported with his parents 2 sisters and 1 uncle in the direction of Konia.

                  The caravan remained there 3 -4 months. During that time the poor Armenian people were several times attacked by Arabs, who killed and robbed.

                  So, Andranig lost all his relatives, and he himself was by an Arab brought to a village ‘Djibbour’.

                  A few days after he fled to another tribe Shammar, where he stayed 12 years as a slave.

                  One day an Armanian Chauffeur saw him and persuaded him to go with him in his motorcar to join other Christians in Aleppo.

                  So he did and one day he safely arrived in our rescue-home.
