Diran, with his parents, one brother
and one sister were exiled in the direction of Hassitshe. On the road his
parents died in the neighbouring villages of Aleppo, the rest reached the
village Sheddad near Hassitshe. There an Arab took Diran away from the caravan
and brought him to his tent. In this way, being separated from the rest of his
family he lived eleven years among the Arabs who belonged to the Baggara tribe.
During that time he worked as a shepherd. As many others, he too was rescued by
our agent in Hassitshe, whence was sent per auto to our rescue-house.
