His
father was a soldier in the Turkish army and disappeared. Abraham was exiled
with his mother, brother and an uncle, a priest. The caravan came near Malatia,
there his mother gave him to a Turkish woman in order to save his life. The
caravan was driven further on and Abraham has heard that all his dear ones were
killed. He stayed with that women five years. His work was mostly to gather
wood in the forest nearby and bring it to the market for selling it. One day he
fled and reached a Kurdish village, where he stayed seven years. In the last
rebellion of the Kurds his master was hung. He fled and reached Arabpounar from
where our agent sent him on to us.
