His father was killed in the beginning of the deportation. He himself was deported with his mother. On the road a Turk came and took him by force to his village named Ibish. Nishan lived five years with the Turk being his servant.
Armenians started to emigrate, daily caravans were passing his village. Nishan fled from the Turk joined a leaving caravan and came with them to Aleppo.
