Mardiros was deported with his family to Tel-Baghad where he lost all his relatives. A Turk took him to his house and Mardiros lived seven years in this place being the Turk's servant. As he was ill-treated he fled to an Armenian family who received him. They also told him about orphanages in Aleppo. After a few days Mardiros decided to go to Aleppo. The Armenians helped him a little and Mardiros succeeded in coming.
He was received on March 1, 1923.
As far as we know he has no relatives.
Mardiros was received in the orphanage of the Near East Relief.
