Siranoush's father had emigrated to America before the
war. She was deported with her mother. The caravan was attacked by Kurds, who
killed the women and children. The mother tried to defend Siranoush. A young
Kurd noticed the girl and carried her away, the mother died there. Siranoush
lived a long time with this man. Two years ago he sold her to another Kurd.
Siranoush did not like him and tried to escape. She finally succeeded and
reached us over Hassitshe.
Left our care: August 25,
1926. Gave birth to a child that was adopted. She is now living as a servant.
