Selfsupporting, Servant in Beyrouth

Gulizars' husband was a soldier in the Turkish army. She herself and her child Hagop were deported. After 4 months she was allowed to return to her city Yozghad where she found work in a rich Greek family and stayed there as a servant 8 long years.

Later she heard that her husband was alive and lived in Damascus. She went there, but after a year he was killed by a Turk. She again became a servant and earned so much money that she was able joining an Armenian high priest, who was going to Aleppo, with some orphans.

In Aleppo she became a servant maid by a Turk, who wanted to marry her and make her boy a Turk. She did not agree and was looking for a chance to flee. One day she succeeded and fled to us.
