After a few days resistance Deort
Yol was occupied by the Turks and the whole populaton was deported to
Ras-el-Ain. Krikor with his cousin (No. 1093) were taken to a village three
hours far from the town and they worked 11 years for a rich Kurd. The man did
not pay anything for their work so they decided to flee and waited for a
chance. One day both succeeded in coming to Hassitshe without having many troubles
on the road. Our agent kept them a few days in his house, later sent them per
auto to our rescue-house.
We have sent Krikor to his mother and brother in
Alexandrette.
Left
