Antranig's father died before the deportation. He himself was exiled with his mother to Der-el-Zor. His mother found a place as a worker in a Turkish house, she was allowed to take Antranig with her.
His mother was inquiring if there were Armenians alive in this region, when she heard that yes, she asked her master to let her go but the latter refused her. She decided to sent Antranig first, hoping that she could flee some time later.
An Armenian automobil driver took care of him on the road and when he reached Aleppo he sent Antranig to us. We received him on March 21.
Antranig was received in the orphanage of the N.E.R.
Left our care: April 10, 1923. Orphanage N.E.R.
