His mother died before the deportation. The rest of the family was exiled to Izoli. His father and step-mother were killed in this town. A Turk from Sourgi took Khoren to his house where he lived four years as a shepherd.
Khoren fled to Khasad where he met his uncle’s daughters who were married with Turks of that town. He lived with them until he could find an opportunity to flee with some other Armenians to Aleppo.
Near Kara Dagh the caravan was attacked by Kourdish brigants, they were absolutely robbed and they came almost naked to this town.
As far as we know he has no relatives.
We finally succeeded in finding Khoren's relatives and he left to live with them.
Left our care: June 6, 1923. Relatives.
