Her father was killed the deportation in his native town. Yester was deported with her mother until Peri, where her mother was killed. Yester was taken to a Turkish house, where she lived seven years as their child.
An Armenian family of this town was coming to Aleppo. They promised Yester to take her with them if she would flee at night to them.
Yester fled the same night and started early in the morning her long journey with her new protectors.
She has no relatives.
Yester was received in the Near East Relief Orphanage.
